The Holiday season is festive and sometimes people endulge and enjoy creativity in the kitchen, sometimes consumption is an issue for individuals. Creativity in presentation is a way to enhance the meal without adding extra caloric intake or cusiene that is unhealthy to consume. Colors have long been determined by physcologists to affect mood. Enhancing your dish with color might entice one to consume healthy food when the alternative is more desireable. Choosing a dish of a different size and or shape could entice the time, occasion, sense or senses in a new way and possibly help with portion control. Food texture could be entertaining as well as an enjoyable base for room tempature, cool or warm water spritzing.

Utensils are a desierable addition for some, and attention paid to, can be enhancing to the meal as well. During the Holidays many tables have special napkins, center pieces and or seating displayed to decorate and enjoy. The change of scenery is pleasing to the senses and or can be stressful for some. Setting up a display or adding decoration to a different table or room of the home to allow a current familiar area of eating to be present and remain so a schedual and environment is not disrupted is important too.
