During the hey-day of disco, funk, R&B and soul music, this was an unprecedented time where fashion played an important role in the music industry. The styles and fashion of yesterday have become a lurid treasure trove for memorabilia enthusiast world wide. KC and The Sunshine Band epitomized the fashion trends of the disco era. The disco ushered in platform shoes for men, plaid-pants, butterfly collars, tie-dye shirts and afro hairstyles.

Many of these once forgotten outfits are now making a comeback in the form of retro-fashion. The original clothes that were worn by KC and other disco, funk and dance artist are very difficult to find. In many metropolitan cities some of these clothes can be found at vintage clothing stores and retro shops.

One of the most fun facts and tidbits about this cover-every band member are wearing jackets, and four of the members are sporting butterfly collar shirts. This album is a step back in time where we peer into the past and find the world was a much simpler place.

The bright red logos are accommodating to the over all cover design, the colors compliment the studio light that KC and his band members stand under. This album cover is a classic and collectible cover and hard to find in mint condition, the album cover was covered and heat sealed to further preserve the collectible aspect of the album.

KC and The Sunshine Band did not produce many memorable album covers throughout the years; this one stands out amongst the others in a pivotal time in disco/funk history.
