Senator Obama, ACORN & the Sub-Prime Fiasco

How many of you know that Barack Obama spoke last year that the sub-prime housing situation was fine with him? How many of you know Obama was a lawyer representing ACORN? How many of you know that ACORN played a huge part in this housing mess that bubbled over? How many know Obama's campaign actually paid $800,000 to an ACORN subsidiary to increase voter turnout?

How many know that the Federal Election Commission (FEC) informed the Obama campaign their employing ACORN was not properly disclosed? How many know the Obama campaign claimed their failure to inform the FEC was nothing more than a clerical error? So, professional political campaign managers made a "clerical error?" Yeah, and I got some ocean front property in Kansas I want to sell you!

How many know that ACORN has been caught committing voter fraud in more than a dozen states? How many read my article last week about my encounters with ACORN registrars? How many are aware that in every single encounter I had with them, and in general the ACORN registrars avoid we lilly white boys, pushing past as if we didn't exist? How many are aware ACORN endorsed Obama for President last February? How many know that this type of non-profit is NOT ALLOWED BY LAW to endorse anyone?

Better yet, how many of you are aware that Barack Obama sued Citicorp on behalf of ACORN? How many know this was done to FORCE Citicorp to make sub-prime loans to people who had no business getting them? How many know that Obama worked for "Project Vote" in 1992? How many know Project Vote is the registration arm of ACORN?

How many know that in Las Vegas ACORN has been caught submitting the names of the Dallas Cowboys starting lineup as new voters ACORN registered? How many know one young man reported ACORN registrars urged him to register to vote MORE THAN 80 TIMES? How many know that ACORN registrars are paid by the number of registrations they get?

How many know McCain was and still thinks the war in Iraq was justified? How many know that our country is in some billion dollars of deficit because of the war in Iraq? How many know that the Bush government paid Pakistan a billion dollars for free in return asking them to get rid of the terrorist camps? How many know that McCain wants to continue this legacy of "war against" and target Iran next? How many know that nothing came out of the Iraq war? No biochemical weapons as they claimed. How many know that Saddam Hussein was an ally of the US at Ronald Reagans time and George Bush Sr.'s time as well for oil?

Saul, you hit the nail on the head. As for groups using illegal methods to register peeps, anyone who does this needs to be arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law, regardless of their political affiliations. To my knowledge any allegation of registration wrongdoing is being done by the Libs. I mean ACORN has endorsed Obama openly for Christsakes, so if my peeps are up yo no good I would love to hear about it. As to your comment about county registrars, etc., as I have worked in government at the county level, it has been my experience that almost every single professional bureaucrat I ever knew was a Democrat. If there is a union involved they are almost 100% certainly a Dem, so I would be anxious to hear of any confirmed allegation against a Conservative in this regard. That's not to say my peeps may not be doing wrong, but I certainly have not yet heard one single word of such against Conservatives. Do you know any specifics?

The Justice Department needs to do their job, Jim. ACORN isn't the only organization committing voter fraud across the country; they're just the biggest. Then there are the damned politicians and partisan clerks in various states purging their registration records. There's a few other discrepancies as well. This is some serious stuff and the damned Justice Department is sitting on thier hands. Why? Because in a month, there will be a new commander-in-chief and if they get too close, ruffle too many feathers, disturb the guy WHO WINS, they could all be out of jobs very quickly. That's why those guys aren't doing anything...

ACORN has long sponsored activities to obtain mortgages for those that would not qualify under any traditional standard. They have pressured banks and used the Community Reinvestment Act to secure loans for those that could not repay them. A large part of our current economic distress can be tracked back to ACORN. See the wikipedia assessment and decide for yourself. Obama has a long and detailed history of supporting ACORN. Now he is poised to become President and we will slide into socialism faster than a speeding bullet. Ugh! Too bad America can not see the writing on the wall that is so clear.
