Existing and Aspiring Small Business Owners: Are You Ready for Obama to Drive You Out of Business?

Barack Hussein Obama could wind up driving hundreds of thousands of small business owners out of business, causing massive unemployment and a depression. He could prevent millions of others from even starting up.

He will "accomplish" this as follows:

1. Place a cap on the success rate, and if you make over that, you'll be subject to his dictatorial Karl Marx wealth redistribution program, whereby he'll confiscate your funds and distribute it to those he decides should have
 it.

2. Increase the minimum wage to around $9.00 or $10.00 an hour, which will also force you to pay your key workers much more. This is only the beginning, and he could even raise it to $14 or $15 an hour, even for the most basic people without skill.

3. Force you to pay health insurance for all of your employees in addition to his high minimum wage, even if the costs keep skyrocketing and even if you can't afford it because you're just getting your business going. If you don't comply, you could become subject to arrest and serving a jail term. Obama appears to be a form of a madman and a Communist.

Our nation thrives on small business. SCORE (the Service Core of Retired Executives) reports:

The estimated 25.8 million small businesses in the United States:

1. Have generated 60 to 80 percent of net new jobs annually over the last decade.

2. Employ 50.6 percent of the country's private sector workforce.

3. Represent 97 percent of all the exporters of goods.

4. Represent 99.7 percent of all employer firms.

5. Generate a majority of the innovations that come from United States companies.

Imagine the effect Obama's plans will have on our nation and on our economy.

Carolyn, This has NOTHING, whatsoever to do with "Black," but rather the fact that Barack Hussein Obama is a Socialist/Neo-Marxist. Consider, that if I ignored this simply because he is Black, THAT would be a form of racism. Furthermore, I am a supporter of Alan Keyes, who is Black, and very qualified to be President. Your comment is most ridiculous, but I'm leaving it up just so people can see the absurdity of it, your apparent racist thinking, and what also appears to be the mentality of the average Obama supporter. Thanks!

Thanks for pointing that out, and I'm glad you seem to concur with what I say, for the most part. Here is a link from a dot gov website that backs the figure I posted: http://www.sba.gov/advo/press/06-17.html ... they also give a figure that small businesses employ 50.6 percent of the non-farm private sector workforce. That sounds very realistic and it's also quite high.

SCORE isn't a government agency. It is an alliance aimed at assisting small businesses, underwritten by a number of for profit and non-profits. But, I get your point. Obama's platform does not REQUIRE employers to PAY for health care - just to provide it. That is a cost saving measure. Buying in bulk (whether the employer or employees pay the actual premiums) helps cut the cost of health insurance. Our family has a silver smithing business, never more than ten employees, in business since the early 1960s and still profitable. Always had health insurance for the employees, but the cost of getting it and the cost to employees is going way up. Those costs will continue to grow is employees have to purchase on their own. We see that as ultimately raising our costs.

"... your statistic of small business being 99.7% of all employer firms doesn't match any Chamber of Commerce data. Where do you get that number and where is your cut off for small business?".....I got it from SCORE, a government agency. Hmm. It does seem high, now that you mention it, and I really don't know what cutoff point they're using for small business I do know the percentage is, indeed, pretty high. The general points I've presented still remain valid, and I wasn't trying to inflate any figures. This is information I looked up from an objective, reliable governement source.

The minimum wage is already over $8 in my state and in our business we pay a minimum of $1.50 over that, and we offer health benefits to all full time employees. We are doing quite well in this economic downturn. Also - the policies you attribute to Obama are not a part of his platform. Did you know that TODAY under existing policies small businesses are failing at historically high rates? Also, your atatistic of small business being 99.7% of all employer firms doesn't match any CHamber of Commerce data. Where do you get that number and where is your cut off for small business?
