The 'South Park' Rape Episode

The last few seasons of 'South Park' have been kind of hit and miss for me. They have their funny moments, but they just don't hit as hard as they used to, and I definitely have mixed feelings about the first episode of this season. First of all, the whole Cartman vs. the Chinese thing wasn't all that shocking or funny, and with the Olympic Opening Ceremonies being so long ago, the storyline just didn't work for Americans and their short attention spans and goldfish memories. They've just gone so far with Cartman at this point by having him do things like having more than a few homosexual experiences or making a kid eat his own parents, that seeing him dressed as a Chinese stereotype and giving up on his campaign against the Chinese because Butters kept shooting guys in the groin did little more than make me giggle a few times.
But then we get to the other storyline: the rape of Indiana Jones. The way the story led into the rape was great, because you had no idea what happened or who Stan and Kyle witnessed being raped. Then once you realized they were talking about George Lucas and Steven Spielberg raping the Indiana Jones character, you finally got to experience that old 'South Park' shock once more.
