Top 10 AC Review Articles of 2006

For useful and practical consumer reviews of both popular and obscure products, Associated Content has a great selection of articles available from content producers. The articles that follow here are my picks, not in any particular order, for the top ten Associated Content Review articles for 2006. Now, as with another article written for this content call, some of the following articles were originally published in 2005, but currently sit on AC's list of top page views for 2006. No. 1: Ten Reasons Why You Should Not Buy an Xbox 360 System by Jason Lindholm. Amid all they hype over the Xbox 360 game system, Mr. Lindholm published this article outlining ten good reasons for not buying this hot video game product. Minus the shot at Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Mr. Lindholm does a good job explaining that the new features are not improved over the original system enough to justify the high cost.

No. 2: Top 11 Programs for Microsoft Windows for Free by Tsu Dho Nimh. A good article about freeware products that can handle most everyday computing needs, including email, instant messaging, and spyware protection.

No. 3: Microsoft's Xbox 360 Versus Sony's Playstation 3 by Adam Tapley. This article lays out in easy-to-read language a comparison of two of the hottest video game systems on the market this season. Mr. Tapley does well by not reaching his own conclusion, but by presenting features and letting readers decide for themselves.

No. 4: Satellite Radio: XM Versus Sirius by Deborah Anderson. Both of these satellite radio providers are popular and it can be difficult to choose which service is right for any particular consumer. Ms. Anderson provides readers with the differences in programming between the two satellite radio companies, allowing potential consumers to decide for themselves what mix of genres is best suited to them.
