Little hands to hold
When crossing the street
Little hands to hug
When there are loved ones to greet
Little hands that are sticky
From cake and ice cream
Little hands to wake you
When there's been a bad dream
Little hands, in sleep
Are there to lay on
Little hands, clasped
Are good to pray on
Little hands to point
To the clouds in the sky
Little hands to be big hands
As time goes by

Little Hands

I love this poem. It makes me think of my grandson Jonathan.
