Quick Easy No Sew Halloween Ghost Costume

Last Minute Costume that Looks Great

Looking for a quick and easy ghost costume? This no sew project is just the thing for you. Sure you could drape a sheet over the head and cut a couple of eyes and be off and running in five minutes, but this costume with look like you spend hours getting it just right and no one will ever
know you threw it together at the last minute.

Material Needed:

White fleece/white sheet

White sweat suit (thermal underwear will do in a pinch)

White Spray on Hair Coloring

Hair Glitter

Halloween Make Up

Purchase 2 to 3 yards of white fleece at the fabric store, if you have time. This will keep young trick-or-treaters toasty warm on chilly Halloween evening. If you don't have white fleece, grab a white sheet and fold it in half. Measure it against the height of the person who will wear it. It should fall to the calf of the leg. If the sheet is too long, cut a section off with a pair of pinking shears.

Cut a slit in the center of the sheet that is wide enough to accommodate the width of the head. Make another slit from the center of the neck hole toward the body. This will look like a T and will provide room for the head to go through without leaving a gaping hole.

Put on the white sweat suit or thermal underwear. For young children a white blanket sleeper will work well. Be sure to add a pair of thick white socks to keep toes warm while trick-or-treating.

Spray the hair with white spray on hair coloring. Be sure to get a good thick coat here. Add some streaks of black for contrast, if preferred. Ruffle the hair to create a disheveled look.

Add white makeup to the face and create dark circles under the eyes with dark eye shadow or Halloween makeup.

Spray a light spray of body glitter to the face to add sparkle and a quick spray of hair glitter to the hair. Be careful of delicate eyes.

Send your youngster off to Halloween parties or trick-or-treating in a costume he will be delighted to wear. Not only will he feel good about his costume, no one will ever guess you waited until the last minute to throw it together.

Great idea! A costume doesn't have to cost, dare I say it so close to Halloween, an arm and a leg.
