Teen Pregnancy

Where does the problem begin when dealing with teen pregnancy, the adults or the teens? Well I would have to say from experience that it comes from all who are involved. Some parents are so blind to what's right under their nose or they even encourage the sexual activity by having the boyfriend join the family on vacations or allowing their teen daughter to do the same with his family. Then they wonder how it happened to their daughter. Honestly, what did they think was going to happen eventually?

I came from a very strong Christian family and was taught from a very young age that the Bible says sex before marriage is wrong and is an absolute SIN! However, that didn't stop me. I dated the same guy from the time I was almost sixteen years old until we married. We became sexually active around our one year anniversary and we both were each other's first. We didn't always use protection so you guessed it, we or should I say I became pregnant when I was nineteen years old. Granted we had already graduated from high school, worked full time (both for airlines) and were already engaged to be married. Some teens don't have that much going for them already and still it made for a very rough start in life at such a young age. But I grew up very fast, and loved my son more then anyone else in this world. My now ex husband and I had our second son five years later and separated before he was two months old and divorced finally after being separated for almost four years.
