If you are looking for things to do this winter in Denver, Colorado, you will find a lot of choices. There will be sports events, plays, symphony music, works of great photography to view, fun scientific events that will let you build your own boats, bridge, windmill, or airplane; stories for children, the chance to see Egyptian mummies, and many other events.

Starting January 6 at 7:30 p.m., you will have the chance to see the Colorado Symphony Orchestra perform the Mahler Symphony number 4 at the Boettcher Concert Hall. Andrew Littleton is the Conductor, and Jeffrey Beiegel will play the piano. Tickets range in price from $15 to $67.50 each. King Lear, by William Shakespeare, directed by Kent Thompson, will be performed at the Stage Theater from January 25, 2007, to February 24. If you have ever lived in Denver, or have an interest in Denver, one activity this winter you might find interesting is a play about Denver, How I Lost My Denverginity, by the Denver City Attractions and The Second City Troupe, a Chicago-based comedy troupe at the Garner Galleria Center, starting January 3 at 8 p.m. The play is about what it means to be a Denverite.
