Learning how to earn fast cash on E-Bay is almost as easy as 1-2-3. This series of articles, How to Earn Fast Cash on E-Bay : A 9 Stage Process, describes not only how to find your selling niche, but what to do with it once you find it. Discovering your selling niche is going to take some time, thinking and planning. In this article,we have developed a multi-step exercise to help you discover your E-Bay niche. Take some time to read through the exercise and then complete it. The more time you put into really taking the exercise seriously, the better prepared you will be for the next stages of the process... Plus the more fun you will have if you are collecting and selling things your love.
Exercise One: Finding Your Niche
1. Take a sheet of lined note paper and draw a line down the middle from top to bottom. At the top of the left hand column write the words "My Hobby". At the top of the right hand column write the words, "My Wanna B Hobby".
2. Number the lines from 1 to 20 in each column.
3. In the left hand column start listing items from your hobby that you love and want to sell.
Example: We collect and sell mid-century modern items so our left hand column "My Hobby" would include vintage:
A. chairs
B. couches
C. dishes
D. spaghetti poodles
E. small appliances
F. bar glasses
G. art work
E. clocks
F. electric fans etc. etc. etc.
Example: Right hand column 'My Wanna B Hobby" would include vintage:
A. table linen
B. sewing patterns
C. Fiesta ware dishes
D. Franciscan Ware Starburst dinnerware
E. radios
F. televisions etc. etc. etc
You may be wondering why we have a "My Wanna B Hobby" column. We have done this so that people who do not currently have a hobby with items to sell can still use this 9 Stage process and learn to collect items that they know will sell on E-Bay.
4. When you have exhausted your brain and filled up your list, it is time to log into E-Bay to check out what the items you have on your list are currently selling for.
If you are not a member of E-Bay you can quickly register by going to E-Bay.com. Do not be scared of giving your information. E-Bay does not sell your information and they do not charge you to register.
