Bangkok, Thailand Has Some Surprisingly Fun Places to Celebrate Halloween
A lot of restaurants in Bangkok will have Halloween promotions with free drinks, 10% Halloween reductions on certain appetizers and entrees, and prize drawings. Check out the hundred or so restaurants at Siam Paragon mall, more at MBK mall, Siam Square, and around the Silom area of Bangkok for Halloween deals. The Hard Rock Café also has a themed party as does the Rama Gardens Hotel and The Oriental (Bangkok's most expensive hotel). And don't forget to check out the local movie theatre (there are hundreds of them in Bangkok) as they'll be showing a couple of scary Halloween movies. If you can see a Thai or Japanese scary movie. They're even more frightening than Western movies.As you can see, there's something for everyone in Bangkok on Halloween. If you're in Bangkok for Halloween, buy a costume, get dolled up and head out to enjoy the fun.

Smorg, I have that dessert at least once a week here. They sell it at the market next to my office for only 10 baht (about 33 cents). It's delicious! :-)
Wow. Ya' gotta love the Thais' love for fun! :o) And now you've somehow reminded me of a good Thai desert I had near a temple there once... I think it was boiled chunks of pumpkin in sweetened coconut milk. I didn't like pumpkins before, but loved that thing! :o)
