Photobie Beginner's Guide
Learn how to do different things in Photobie using this guide. This is a beginner's guide. In this guide you will learn how to do things like how to create a new photo panel, opening photos, saving photos, and use the text tool. Go ahead and open your Photobie program and we will get
started.
How To Create a New Photo Panel to Work On
First, I will show you how to create a new photo panel to work on. The first icon on the left at the top of the window is the New Photo Panel icon. Click that icon and a box will open. In this box you will see where you can change the size of the photo panel. Enter the size that you want for the panel. You can also change the background color by clicking the Change button beside Background Color. A color box will open and you will need to click the color that you want to use. Then click the OK button. Now click the OK button on the new Photo Panel box. Your new photo panel will open in your Photobie window.
How To Open a Photo in Photobie
Next, I will show you how to open a photo in Photobie. Go to the top of your window and click File > Open > Image. When the box opens, you will need to locate the photo that you want to open. Once you have found the photo, double click it to open it. The photo will open in your Photobie window.
How To Save a Photo in Photobie
Saving a photo is an important part when editing it and doing different things. To save the photo, go to the top of your window and click File > Save As. The Save As box will open. You will need to drop the Save As Type box down and select the type of file that you want to save the photo as. Then enter a name in the File Name box and click OK. Your photo is now saved.
How to Use The Text Tool in Photobie
On the right side of your program you will see the little toolbox. In the toolbox you will see the T icon. Click that icon and click your mouse on the photo or photo panel. A box will open and this is where you will need to type your text. Type what you want in the box and click OK. Your text will now appear on your panel or photo. To move the photo around, click the hand icon in the layers panel. A box will appear around the text and you can move it. You will need to go ahead and set your color and font style before adding your text.
