Could the Woman Who Started Roe v. Wade Bring the Abortion Law Down?

Norma McCorvey, the "Roe" in the Famous Legal Case, Now Has a Different Stance on Abortion

Yes, it's quite telling that McCorvey didn't latch onto McCain and Palin. However, if that administration gets into the White House, you can expect McCorvey to link arms with Sarah Palin in making sure Roe v. Wade gets overturned. The woman who was behind the original case can still make inroads if she has a President or Vice President backing her and a conservative court to make it a reality. Plus, if it doesn't happen now, it'll happen later when we inevitably get a conservative pro-life President in the White House in the next decade. After all, McCorvey is only 61 as of this writing and has plenty of years left to mark her influence.

For those who want Roe v. Wade to stay as it is, now you know who the real influential person is in making it get overturned. Undoubtedly, the Court Justices may feel that Roe v. Wade is a bit of paradox now what with McCorvey originally lying in her case and having a completely different stance on abortion 35 years later. But for newer judges appointed down the road, it might be enough of a compelling reason to give the law a second look.
