I remember the first time I smoked a cigarette like it was yesterday. I didn't actually inhale it until a few of my friends started making fun of me and showed me how to do it the "right way. After a few deep breaths of tobacco smoke I felt so sick I nearly threw up. Although I had this initial experience with tobacco that should have kept me away from smoking I continued to smoke. My habit started small, just a cigarette a day or maybe one every two days. But before I knew it I was smoking more and more and not able to quit.

From the time I was 16 years old I was a smoker. It wasn't until I was 19 that I finally defeated this habit. Often I would try to quit and regularly throw whole packs out the window of my car only to get angry at myself later as I went back and bought another pack. I never seemed to learn this lesson and probably wasted quite a bit of money throwing away good smokes.

If you addicted to tobacco I know what its like. Those intense cravings, sometimes its all you can do to keep cool while having a nic fit. I can remember a time, before I reached the age of tobacco maturity, that I and a friend of mine went through his parents old cigarette butts and scavenged the longest butts we could find. Sadly we both smoked these disgusting old things up in his room. Nicotine has driven me to some pretty sad ends!

Oddly enough, after years of not smoking, the smell of cigarette smoke sickens me. Its funny how that stuff just lingers around the people who smoke. Your teeth also get bad and your face will age a lot quicker. Personally, I enjoy running and smoking would be a serious detriment to this fun activity in my life. Its hard to think I never thought of these negatives before.

So How Do I Naturally Quit Smoking?

When I was under 18, I once resorted to smoking my friend's parents old cigarette butts to get my nicotine fix.
