Waynesville, North Carolina is such a wonderful little town. Waynesville is filled with people who will truly teach you what Southern hospitality means. The night life in Waynesville may not be much, but there is an amazing place to eat along with a with a great movie theater. If you love to shop you can always hit the department stores after enjoying a good meal or before. You may also want to consider spending a little bit of time in Maggie Valley, which is literally 2 to 5 miles from Waynesville, when you are enjoying the night life that Western North Carolina has to offer.

Waynesville Night Life: The Best Meal

When enjoying the night life that Waynesville has to offer, you must stop and eat at Fat Buddies. Fat Buddies is by far the best barbeque that Western North Carolina has to offer and that's saying a lot when you consider that North Carolina is known for its great pork barbeque. This is a wonderful night life restaurant because it has such a laid back environment. The restaurant is lined with wood paneling. There is NASCAR memorabilia located all over the restaurant and there are also pig figurines all over the place. The music is always set to a great rock station and there are always great drinks to be had. So you not only get a great meal at this popular night life hot spot, but you'll also get a great drink as well. The food is absolutely amazing. When I go to Waynesville, this is the only restaurant I will eat at. The appetizers are my favorite part of the meal. Fat Buddies has wonderful chicken tenders and deep fried mushrooms that are served with a spicy ranch dipping sauce. Their sweet tea is truly Southern sweet tea, which means it's amazingly sweet. The main dishes are also wonderful. Their ribs literally fall off the bone and their smoked beef and pork is almost sinful it's so good. While the appetizers and main dishes are amazing, you really need to save room for dessert. Their white chocolate raspberry cheesecake will make any carb lover smile with delight. This is a night life hot spot that you must visit when you're in Waynesville.
