I have type one diabetes and I have been a diabetic since I was 2yrs old and now I am 22 yrs old without one single complication. I live life normally just as if I don't have diabetes and I am doing just fine. If anyone needs any support or tips just let me know

Wow, no page breaks and very hard on the eyes. Sad, though, because my dad died on May 4, 2008 from a silent heart attack and DKA had set in, but we were not educated to know the warning signs - and the agitation, anger, and confusion was common for his personality.

I've had type one diabetes for over ten years. I found out I had it when I was nine years old. Today I live a happy normal life with the help of family and friends. I need some advise on how to get some health insurance. I do not have any some times its hard to my meds. So if any one can help me out on that I really need it BAD! Get back with me. Thank You, Bradley

i have been type 1 diabetic for 8 years now and can honestly say that if you take care of yourself you should have no long term effects causedby high bloodsugar. I just went to my doctor 2 weeks ago and all my blood work came back good and no signs of anything wrong, I am healthy (other than the Diabetes part)
