Boy, Passion sure has come a long way. Having begun as a grassroots movement out of a deep, heartfelt passion for college students in the late 90's by founder Louie Giglio, the movement has now become a juggernaut. With sixsteprecords, Passion's in house record label, boasting a roster of such heavyweights as Chris Tomlin, the David Crowder*Band, Charlie Hall, and Matt Redman, Passion has been a huge force in changing the face of modern worship. The newest DVD release from the group, Passion '06: Everything Glorious, will only help to solidify that standing.

The disc is a collection of performances taped earlier this year at Passion '06, a gathering of collegiate believers from all over the world, seeking to unite and pursue the heart of God. Featuring performances from all of the aforementioned artists as well as newcomer, Kristian Stanfill, the DVD is packed with ten great tracks. Tomlin offers up the soon to be worship standard, "Made to Worship," a buoyant "Party," and leads the perfect closer, shared by all performers, with the medley of "Glorious/Our God Reigns." Stanfill provides a stirring rendition of "Jesus Paid it All", which offers a great new bridge, and Matt Redman shares, "You Never Let Go." Charlie Hall provides "All We Need" and "Center," while the David Crowder*Band rounds out the offerings. In fact, the DC*B really provide the energy and glue to this disc, sharing new song, "Everything Glorious," as well as rock opera, "You are My Joy," and the crowd friendly, "We Win." All of the performances are enhanced with great camera work and superior quality and are offered in letterbox format.
