There was a step down in Mainframe application development and Technology. This is predominantly due to reduce in outsourcing. technology is one of the hot trends that has picked up since 2006. It is widely applied in smart card and employee tracking software's.
There have been lots of R&D centers working on RF ID Technology.
Due to a drastic drop in economy, various technologies suffered and even there was a marginal drop in JAVA and Dot Net. Only selected applications in Java and Dot net were able to sustain in the market. There is very good scope for Gaming Java Application, P H P and C# Technologies.
Multimedia and website design industry still remain hot in the market and new tools for multimedia like MAYA were introduced and they were immediately famous in the market. Also 3 D modeling, Auto CAD, 2 D / 3 D modeling also became predominantly famous. MAYA is really a very interesting part of animation and is really a technology to watch out.
The website design and development ensured a safe stay for P H P, A S P, C#, C sharp and various existing players were facing threats. Flash became very famous in Web Design industry.
Still the market is dominated by SAP, even though other players are quite successful.
The scope for testing applications reduced and thereby enhancing manual testing process.
Currently, the application development field witnessed a small drop thereby newer technologies will come into existence.
Newer versions of Linux operating system like PC Linux, came into existence. Windows get upgraded to Vista. Advanced operating system came into existence like MAC.
Newer like RAM CO, Na vision and ABASE increased their competition with SAP and Oracle whereas on contrast, BAN became failure.
The concept of S E O became predominantly famous and effective tool for marketing.
