Simple Easy, and Fast Thanksgiving Turkey Alternatives

Gobble Gobble what is that Oh no is that Mr. Turkey once again? Are you tired of having the same old Turkey for Thanksgiving year after year? Yes, Mr. Good old Tom is quite tasty, but sometimes it's nice to
 have turkey alternatives like chicken, pork, pasta or ham. Are you in the need for some good turkey alternatives that will leave you and your guests asking for more? Well here are a few yummy in the tummy turkey alternatives you might enjoy.

Italian turkey cutlets- This is a great alternative to good old Tom. Pair this up with some creamy mashed potatoes, sausage stuffing, and cranberry sauce your good to go.

Items needed for the Italian turkey cutlets:

1 whole package of mozzarella cheese

6-8 Pieces of turkey cutlets

Italian breadcrumbs approximately 1 to 1 ¼ cups

A few sprinkles of Garlic powder

1 Large White onion chopped up fine

Pepper to taste

Homemade sauce or you can use a jar sauce and add your own spices to it

First pre-heat your oil in a large frying pan. While the oil is heating up start preparing your turkey cutlets like you would chicken cutlets. After the oil is pre-heated add your onions and cook until they are lightly browned. Place your turkey cutlets in the oil and cook for about 10 minutes until brown on both sides. Place the turkey cutlets onto a paper towel to drain off excess oil then place onto a baking sheet. Put the onions to the side in a bowl. Now place a few thick slices of mozzarella cheese on top, add garlic, pepper, and sauce on top. Cook on 350 for 20 minutes until all the cheese is melted. Take out of oven place onions on top, sauce, and sprinkle some parmesan cheese all over.

Roasted chicken stuffed with potato and stuffing- This is very tasty, juicy, and different to serve for Thanksgiving. Why make a plain old roasting chicken when you can be creative.

Items needed for Roasted chicken stuffed with potato and stuffing:

3-5 Cups of prepared mashed potatoes (Garlic flavored is great with the chicken)

2-3 Teaspoons of chicken fat

2 Large white onions chopped fine

4-6 Teaspoons of salt

1 ¼ Teaspoons of pepper

6-10 Pound roasting chicken

1 Box of Stove Top stuffing (prepared)
