Sporting a new do, a now brunette Molly Holly spent some time with me, after a recent autograph session at the Wachovia Arena, to talk about her on and off the mat.

See, Ms. Holly recently transformed from a blonde bombshell, typical wrestling diva type into a straight-edged "goody-two-shoes" brunette who urges her fellow wrestling females to cover up. All for the sake of a storyline, of course. A storyline, might I add, that is making her appear a 'bad guy' amongst wrestling fans.

The WWE has encountered many changes in the past few years. First, with its acquiring of the WCW and having the WCW and WWF in matches against each other, then a merger between the two into one bigger WWF, the organization's name officially changing to WWE, after decades of existence, and finally now having two separate rosters for the two different event on Mondays and Thursdays: Smackdown and Raw. I asked Molly how these changes have affected Vince McMahon's entertainment empire.

"Now that they just have two different brands, Raw and Smackdown, there are a lot more opportunities for more storylines. The women's division has really flourished, and so has the cruiser weight division. It's also just great to see a lot of new, young talent coming into help the shows be great," she said.

With the different storyline going on throughout Raw and Smackdown compared to the number of actual people on the roster, some may not always be in the limelight. So, what is one to do when they are not on the front burner?

"I think it depends why they are not in the storyline. If it is because they are injured, they will do a lot of autograph signings and personal appearances and on-sale ticket dates. If it is just that they are not in a story, the talent will still go to show and sharpen skills by wrestling in the afternoon, or be on Heat and Velocity, and on non-televised matches before the live event, called preliminary matches," she said.
