December 23rd, 2006- HANNA THEATER, Cleveland, Ohio.
Raine Austen, whose CD "No More Than Believin'" is available from CDBaby.com,
brought a little Nashville showmanship and new York Opera with her to the Hanna Theater for her performance in "Under A Star". This, two hour long, song filled show celebrated the Christmas Season with song, humor and the professional showmanship of Raine Austen.

This was not a typical Christmas program. "Under A Star" combined a Nashville stage-show and the operatic virtuosity of Raine Austen. The songs were familiar but the performances were new, different and very contemporary. The set design, lighting effect and sound systems enhanced the realization that this is not just a Christmas show. Rather, this show is Nashville. "Who Am I", a brand new song penned by Ms. Austen and her co-writer and fellow vocalist, Carin LeSeure, musically explores the wonderment of Joseph as he discovers he will be the father of the Christ child.

Nashville shows feature talent, and that is what "Under A Star" brought to the stage.
Ms. Austen and Ms. LeSeure assembled a musical cast of talent from the Cleveland area
which is truly world-class. Scott Evans, Becky Grano, Lauri Jones, Crystal Charleston, Dan DiBlasi, Tina Facca, Alan Sorm, Tracy Smejkal, Beverly Danis, Kay Lee Bill Wofford, Jim McCormick and Daniel Kuczek, Chris Toth and JoDee Coulter, each accomplished musicians, brought a depth and quality to the show which is infrequently found in Cleveland.

If you like stage-shows, signing, dance and humor, catch "Under A Star" next Christmas Season. Shows like this are New York quality with Nashville lightheartedness.
