David Von Erich was supposed to win the NWA World Title from Ric Flair in 1984. But before he could, he passed away. The official report was that he died of acute enteritis but many think he died of a drug overdose. Bruiser Brody who found his body admitted to flushing his pain killers down a toilet in the belief that it was an overdose. Brody himself was later stabbed to death by another wrestler in a locker room altercation.

Kerry Von Erich aka Modern Day Warrior, aka Texas Tornado. Unlike his bothers and father Kerry actually won the NWA Title from Ric Flair but didn't hold it long.
