Product Overview:
This TV looks great in about any living room. It has the standard flat panel all black look with a glossy finish. The speakers flank either side of the screen and give it a widened look. There is no noticeable text on the television save for the word elite across the bottom portion of the frame.
This TV is full of features and they can be accessed easily thanks to a nice redesigned menu from Pioneer. There are more color adjustment and picture quality tweaks included in this television then you will likely ever need. If you know what you're doing and want the best picture for your viewing environment then this is probably the TV for you. Otherwise it may take some reading in the lengthy but detailed instruction manual to get the hang of this thing. There is an automatic sensor included with this TV which measures ambient light intensity and adjusts your picture as needed. This is a feature you won't find in their non-elite branded televisions.
The picture on this TV is just amazing. The color accuracy is fantastic and some of the best I've ever seen. The blacks are very dark which, is usually the case with most plasma sets. This set is even energy star compliant and while probably won't set any records for the greenest TV it does do a good job conserving energy.
