Spring is very quickly approaching, and you are probably already dreading the idea of spring cleaning. There are however several things that you can do in order to make things go a lot quicker and to run a lot smoother in your household. First you will need to make sure that you get your entire family involved. That means everyone that lives in your house including children. Then make up some sort of chart that will indicate who has to do what. Did you know that you can get all your spring cleaning done in one day if you have the right amount of help? Even if you don't have children you can still recruit some family member to come over and spend the day helping you. Now let's talk a little about what you need to put on your chart.First you will need to make sure that each person has chorus that they are capable of completing. For example if your have a five year old and a ten year old you would not think of giving them the same chores. So make sue that you are not overwhelming one person. Next it would be a good idea to make up little cleaning kits or baskets. This way you can make sure that every person has whatever they need to clean their particular area, and it makes it a little more fun for the kids. Each kit or basket should include garbage bags, dusting materials, and whatever else they may need. You can then put names on each of the baskets. For the younger kids you can include a ticket in their basket, that would entitle them to a special treat when they are done. This is really a fun idea for kids. It helps to get them in the cleaning mood. For older children or for your husband you could give them the task of throwing out any garbage and caring for the outside of the home, while you take care for most of the inside. Another suggestion is to start early in the morning.
