FinallyFast.Com (Finally Fast Dot Com): Scam or Legit?

Does FinallyFast.Com Really Work?

Being unable to sleep has some disadvantages, not the least of which is staring at the television while late night infomercial drone on about the benefits of their product, program or service. Everything from kitchen
products to make gourmet meals from leftovers to exercise equipment stored under the bed, guaranteed to make anyone look like a supermodel in less than 30 second per day use.

I have digital cable, with over 300 stations, and Chuck Norris was on about 119 of them last night. While flipping through the late-night offerings, I was oh-so-lucky as to stumble upon a commercial for FinallyFast.com, expounding on the benefits of their 'FREE' computer check. As with any thought that comes this side of 6am, I had the crazy idea it would be a good idea to look this website up on the internet and see what they were all about.

Does FinallyFast.com really work? Can FinallyFast.com really speed up my internet? Can FinallyFast.com really speed up my computer? Does FinallyFast.com really do all of this for free?

FinallyFast.com, The Commercial

"My computer used to be fast. Really fast. Now it's only kind of fast." This is the lead-in line of the really bad acting for the main character in the FinallyFast.com commercial. Then, we see several people using their computers, all of which appear to be Apple brand computers, who are having trouble getting web pages to load, can't check their email, IM windows are shutting down, error window messages are popping up, and one even gets the 'blue screen of death'. The insinuation: our product fixes all of these issues.

At the end of the commercial, the same lead character is sitting at his computer talking to himself, tapping on his keyboard, excited his computer is fast, finally. Ding-ding! It dawns on him what the program name means, and he perks up like he discovered gravity and says, "FinallyFast.com!"

Whoohoo!

I recently tried their "free scan" all it was was a "free scam" What it did was make it so I would have to buy their program or my computer would catch fire. I did not pay their thing and my computer did catch fire. I ended up paying over $500 for the laptop repair for their "free "scam"". I hope that somebody else not be as curious as I was.

mplete reload of the operating system. Lastly, Avira's AntiVir FREE edition is one of the best FREE antivirus programs out there (find it here: www.free-av.com). BE AWARE OF OTHER PROGRAMS THAT USE THE WORD "ANTIVIR" IN THEIR TITLE, THEY ARE NOT THE SAME!!!! Check these reviews: http://freesoftwarecomparison.wordpress.com/2007/07/16/free-antivirus-comparison/ and http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,66660-page,1-c,antivirus/description.html to see for yourself how Avira's antivirus software stacks up against the rest of the "Free" field. Between the 3 programs, your PC should remain relatively free of the issues pointed out in the "Finallyfast.com" commercial AND be able to keep money in your pockets.

Three other great programs - both free and frequently used by "geeks" (self inclued) - are crap cleaner, Malwarebyte's Anti=Malware, and Avira AntiVir Personal Antivirus programs. Crap Cleaner (now known as CCleaner: www.ccleaner.com) is a free cleaning utility that also does registry scanning and reporting of erroneous entries. Fixing the entries is dangerous, so don't do any of that unless you know what you're getting yourself into. You can also customize the scan/deletion of files off of your system that are considered "temporary" in MANY different folders. Malwarebyte's Anti=MAlware program is a gem in the rough program (found here: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html). This program actually found "finallyfast.com" software and flagged it as a trojan malware program. I've used it on several PC's that I've repaired that had Ascentive's software loaded on a customer's PC and was able to remove it successfully without having to do a co

I am very glad I decided to look up a few reviews on the site, my laptop has been getting so bad recently and it only seemed to me that McAfee was making the problem worse. I was willing to result to the site thinking on what could it hurt, even though I had my suspicions. I'm thankful that you listed those other programs, spybot search and destroy is running even as I type this, and it's already foud a few errors, thank you again.

@kamikaze: Rude AND Ignorant. You shouldn't be allowed to use a computer without adult supervision.

FinallyFast uses complex algorithms in order to address problematic issues. The algorithms it uses are similar in nature to those of 8-Minute Abs, ShamWow, and FreeCreditReport.com.

I'm sorry you can't sleep there, Michelle. If you want to finally find sleep fast, I highly recommend www.lowbluelights.com and their light bulbs, tv/monitor filters and glasses all of which block blue light. Blue light is bad at night because ultimtely it decreases your melatonin production which when naturally produced, promotes lengthy and quality sleep. No wonder the World Health Orginization and the AMA have denounced third-shift work under the lights a legitimate carcinogen. I had my doubts. I am definitely a believer in lowbluelights.com. and finally catching up on a lifetime of lost sleep. Best of luck.
