How Does the Naki World PSP Movie Dock Stack Up? Follow Along for All the Answers

Naki World PSP Movie Dock MSRP: $29.99
Manufacturer: Naki World
When watching movies, the PSP's built-in speakers are simply too quiet to be worthwhile. Even with the volume turned all the way up it's almost impossible to hear anything unless there is absolutely no noise going on in the surroundings. Every accessory manufacturer has some sort of movie docking station to enhance the experience with beefier speakers and other features, however many of these PSP mini-theaters cost a pretty penny. Naki World's PSP Movie Dock, on the other hand, is an affordable option for those who don't have the cash to fork over upwards of 100 big-boys for one of the high-end theater systems.
At an affordable $29.99, the Movie Dock does everything the other PSP docks do - maybe not quite as well, but still of solid quality. As a docking station it functions as a charging stand first and foremost, and at this job it performs as good as any docking station you can buy. Built into the stand, however, are stereo speakers that far exceed what the PSP's default speakers are capable of and make watching movies (or listening to music) a far more enjoyable experience. Though the speakers don't deliver the most amazing audio quality, they do what they are meant to do perfectly fine, and there aren't any audio artifacts or anything of the like to specifically point out. The small size, hinged cradle and battery capabilities (four AAA's) also make for one of the easiest movie docking stations to carry around.
One feature the Movie Dock does have over many of its competitors is an included remote control, which is a device I have been looking for in a lot of the other theater systems I've taken a look at. It's a common-sense feature but for some reason a lot of the higher end speaker add-ons don't include it. Watching a movie is so much easier when you can sit back and relax. Without a remote it can be a hassle feeling around in the dark trying to find the small buttons on the PSP itself to maybe pause the movie for a second or adjust the volume, but with this product none of these issues are a factor.
