I bought a Seiko about 25 years ago and the last time I took it in to be cleaned and repaired I was told it wasn't worth it. So I asked about a new Seiko and the jeweler said they no longer carried them because they had "cheapened them up" by using plastic parts. So I asked what was the next best watch and was told it was Citizen. (Of course, it's a man's watch.) There are two things that I don't like about it. The band and the fact that the battery goes dead a lot faster than my Seiko did. I replaced the band. It does keep good time, though. Good review, Tonya.
