Chick-fil-A Restaurants Around the Country Are Giving Away Free Food to Patrons Who Vote

Chick-fil-A restaurants around the country are getting people into the mood to vote by offering a free chicken sandwich to anyone that comes into their participating stores wearing "I voted" stickers. The promotion is taking place on Election Day 2008 (November 4th) at many of their locations, and it is an effort to not only to get the word out about voting in the election, but to show their support for people working in polling locations. MSNBC was reporting that Chick-fil-A will also be donating free food to several voting locations in Florida, where the stress of working in one of the stations has kept everyone quite busy for the past few hours and days.

Chick-fil-A is a fast food restaurant that specializes in chicken products on their menu, and is using a promotion tactic that is sure to bring in a lot of customers on Election Day. A promotion like this is typically hosted in the hopes that when people come in to claim their free chicken sandwich, that they will purchase something else off the menu (like a soft drink) and maybe then become a patron of the restaurant in the future. Most of the Chick-fil-A locations are offering the promotion, but it is good to call ahead just in case, and for that, here is the restaurant locator that Chick-fil-A provides to all of its customers. The only requirement of receiving that free sandwich is showing up at one of the locations with the "I Voted" sticker, and then it's simply a process of enjoying some free lunch.

This isn't the only promotion occurring on Election Day around the United States, as several other companies have also jumped in line to offer free products to not only get people out and voting, but to bring in some more customers along the way. Some of the other businesses that are participating on November 4th include Starbucks, which will be offering free coffee to people that visit participating locations, and Krispy Kreme which is giving out free donuts to its patrons during the day. Shane's Rib Shack is one other such business offering free food to its customers as well.
