Keyword article marketing is a popular way to get exposure and search engine optimization helping backlinks to your websites and affiliate programs. The actual writing of the article depends upon your skill with the English language and your knowledge of the topic. After you have perfected that, however, you still have to worry about getting enough keywords in your article. The keywords, after all, are the things that people will search for when looking for an article to read or use on their own site. Since you want your article read or picked up by a website owner, you must utilize keywords.

Many people come up with complex formulas for including keywords in your article, but there is a very simple way of doing it. Essentially, it comes from knowing how long your article will be, the average length of a paragraph, and what percentage of keywords you want to include.

Most sources agree that you should have between two and five percent keyword saturation. That means you should have two to five keywords per one hundred words of article. An average article paragraph is about fifty words long. Therefore, you should include your keyword just one of two times per paragraph.

Use Keyword in the Title

In order to make it easier for webmasters and newsletter publishers to find your article, you should always use your chosen keyword, or keyword phrase, in the article title. In this article, you see that the keywords, or keyword phrase, include "keywords" and "articles."

Use a Keyword in Each Paragraph

All you have to do with the rest of the article is include one or two keywords, or keyword phrases, in each paragraph. You can see that this has been done in this article.

It is very important, however, that your article does not become ungainly or overrun with keyword phrases. If you put too many in, or do not vary how they are presented, the article will be difficult to read. You must make your sentences interesting and make them sound natural when read.
