Penthouse Pet Arrested for Prostitution Ring in Georgia

A former Penthouse Pet, Lisa Ann Taylor, was arrested Wednesday near Atlanta in Gwinnett County, Georgia on prostitution, racketeering, and drug charges. Better known as Melissa Wolf, Taylor is the star of many X-rated films as well as a Penthouse Pet of the Month in 1985. She and another woman have been accused of running a high-priced prostitution house charging clients up to $10,000 a "date". The famous centerfold's website even features a place where she took bookings from her clients. The encounters could have occurred in homes or other venues, such as hotels, and took place in various cities throughout the country.

The other woman arrested is Nicole Probert, also known as Naughty Nikki and Brigit Foxxx according to arrest warrants. The business was mainly run out of Taylor's residence in a high profile gated community in Duluth, GA. However, at Probert's home, men were noted as coming and going at odd hours and stayed for short lengths of time. Neighbors of both women had made several complaints to police about their loud parties and traffic at the house, but a tip from a local newspaper prompted the investigation. It is reported that the prostitution ring has been in business for more than three years.

The pair are also accused of getting drugs for their clients or friends, and it is believed that pornography might have been filmed in Taylor's house. Officials are reviewing obscenity laws to see if additional charges should be filed. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the District Attorney for Gwinnett County has filed a lien against the home, reportedly worth over $1 million, with the intent of seizing it as proceeds coming from the criminal activity. The Gwinnett Daily Post reports that both women could face up to 37 years in prison and monetary damages due to the civil action also filed against them.
