When it comes to culinary delights, a member of our civilized society has a great deal of options available from which to choose. This can make meal time a dizzying and stressful experience for many Americans. Three meals, means three important decisions that can make or break a day (well, a third of one anyway). In order to assist those who can't deal with the anxiety involved in choosing their breakfast, lunch, brunch, or supper, I have dedicated my life to my finding the world's most perfect food. After years of research and weight gain I think my quest may have finally come to an end. I propose that in terms of nutrition, versatility, and overall deliciousness, applesauce is unrivaled by any other food product.

We all know the old adage. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Truer words were never spoken. Apples are indeed an important part of any nutritious diet, but who really wants to eat one every single day. They're simply too much work. If you manage to find one that's worm free, wash it, and eat it before it spoils, you still have to deal with disposing the core and cleaning up all the juices you now have all over your hands and face. With applesauce, these complications are avoided. There is no mess, no pesky pesticides, and the stuff can be stored in jars indefinitely. The sauce is clearly the most efficient option, and in the fast paced society we live in today, efficiency is everything.

As well as being a convenient source of nutrition, applesauce is easily employed in almost any culinary situation. It works amazingly well as a side dish or midday snack, and if push come to shove, could even make for a light meal (the chunky variety of course). It can be served hot or cold, and is easily edible for both babies and seniors alike. Not quite sure whether your hungry or thirsty? Applesauce will take care of both. Has a bad case of strep throat made it difficult to swallow? Again, your answer is applesauce. I could go on and on.
