The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is not going to just have big name electronics this year, it's also going to have big named stars. The biggest electronics show in the world is going to play host to several sports icons, musicians, and actors.

Sports visitors include Nascar driver Kyle Bush representing the company Delphi, and other race car drivers Tanner Foust, and Stephan Papadakis representing Memphis Car Audio. All of the drivers will be at their respective companies booths helping them promote their new products for 2007.

The company Haier plans to have several famous NBA icons visit the show. Over a three day show stretch the company will have George Gervin, "The Iceman", Clyde "the Glide" Drexler, and Dominique Wilkens, "the Human Highlight Film" all available limited hours at their booth to make appearances.

Gibson Guitar also plans on having several guest celebrity appearances at the show. Announced performers include Jeff "Skunk" Baxter", Latin star Arthur Hanlon, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. On Tuesday the company plans on having performers from Cirque de Soleil.

The band 3 Doors Down plans to make several performances while at the show. The band partnered with CES to promote the "Great Audio Experience" this year. The campaigns main goal is to educate consumers about their various audio equipment options, and help them select the right audio equipment for their needs.

Other scheduled celebrity guests at CES include Gene Simmons from KISS, model Teresa Noreen, George Benson and Al Jarreau, and the Humanoid Robot ASIMO.

CES is the largest trade show of its kind, hosting over 100,000 electronic manufacturers, journalists, and retailers. The show is organized by the Consumer Electronics Association, and virtually takes over Las Vegas every January with it's week long electronics event. This year marks the show's 40th anniversary, with the very first CES being held in New York City in 1967.
