Coach Cowher Says Goodbye to the Pittsburgh Steelers

When Coach Cowher gave his fifteenth year as the head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers many didn't know that it would be his last. Coach Cowher formally resigned from his position with the Pittsburgh Steelers in a touching farewell news conference that many Steelers fans were watching. His main reason for resigning was to spend more time with his family, his wife and three daughters. When he put in his last year with the Steelers, it was one of ups and downs and it certainly wasn't a season that one could say left many feeling like they did the year before. Coach Cowher takes with him the pride of Super Bowl win, the legend of his very own emotional coaching practices and the feeling that he became a better person for having served as the Steelers head coach for fifteen years. It is needed to say that this man was a very special coach for the Steelers. He brought a true sparkle to the field during the fifteen years that he was the head coach. He will take with him now plenty of great memories and huge accomplishments. With all that he did as the head coach of the Steelers there are many things for him to be especially proud ot.
The owners, the players and the fans and media will all miss Coach Cowher. He sure did give it his all for all of the fifteen years he served as the head coach for the Steelers. With each game he put his whole heart and soul into the game and what was happening on the field. Truly, it must be said, that Coach Cowher did a remarkable job as the head coach for the Steelers. Everyone wishes him luck as he takes time now to spend with his family and perhaps pursue another vocation. His coaching will be missed. Next year he will be missed when Steelers season starts up again. Part of the fun of watching the games was watching the emotions that Coach Cowher put into each and every game. Good luck Coach Cowher in whatever you decide to do now. You were a huge success as a coach for the Steelers and you will be missed by many people. Thanks for the many years of your coaching abilities because the fans of the Steelers really appreciated it. It will be tough to find a coach as unique as you, Coach Cowher.
