Fortunately, Little Rock, Arkansas boasts an impressive array of fine dining options sure to impress your special someone.Nu Cuisine, 225 Markham Street- An undeniably cosmopolitan dining experience, this restaurant can get crowded fast, so make sure you have reservations at the Chef's table to avoid a long wait. Imaginative New American entrees, a full bar,light airy decor and a beautiful view of the Arkansas River from the patio make this a great place for a special meal.
Brave New Restaurant- 2300 Cottondale Lane- A breathtaking view of the river and a good selection of wines makes Brave New Restaurant a great place for a romantic evening. During pleasant weather, the deck provides a welcomed opportunity to get away from the crowds. This is one of the few restaurants that offer local specialities trout and farm-raised venison. Finish the evening with their famous Chocolate Creme Brulee.
Loca Luna, 3519 Old Cantrell Road- Loca Luna, named one of the nation's top neighborhood restaurants by Bon Appetit magazine,is a Little Rock legend and for good reason. The menu features interesting twists on traditional favorites like Delta Pot Roast with Ozark Shiitake Mushrooms and Sirloin Strip with Smoke Chile Sauce. The extensive wine list makes it easy to find something to compliment your meal. Loca Luna also features an extensive brunch menu. Reservations are recommended.
Sonny William's Steak Room, 500 East Markham Street- Proving that downtown is the "in" place to go for fine dining, Sonny William's Steak Room in the River Market is mere blocks from cosmopolitan Nu Cuisine, but miles away in atmosphere. Slightly noisier than the St. Moritz, it is still intimate and quiet enough for conversation. An excellent wine list compliments a wide variety of chicken, seafood and Omaha aged prime beef. Reservations are a must for this busy hot spot.
