Gemini J44416 Keychain Digital Camera
It connects to the computer using a USB cable (included), so your computer must have a free USB port (it cannot transmit data through a serial cable like some digital cameras do). The computer must also have Windows 98/ME/2000/XP and 50MB of free hard drive space. Additionally, Gemini recommends that the computer have a Pentium processor and 64+ MB of RAM/memory, which most computers being used today are equipped with. It includes a CD with drivers, software, and a manual in PDF format. The CD also has a recent version of Adobe's PDF viewing software, so you won't need to download it from the internet to be able to read the manual. After downloading photos on to the computer, it is possible to e-mail them, place them on a website, use them in auction listings, print them out, or use them for other purposes.
The small silver-colored Gemini J44416 is very lightweight. According to the package it came in, its dimensions are only 3.4"x2.1"x0.63". It could be put on a keychain, but is a bit large for this and would be more likely to be damaged. It includes a detachable neck strap, and a tripod (usually not included) can be screwed into the socket on the bottom of the camera. The USB port has a gray rubber flap to keep debris out when it is not in use. Unfortunately, the camera lacks a built-in lens cover like many point-and-shoot 35mm cameras have. It has a small LCD screen on the back which displays the number of pictures its memory can hold before it is full. It is also used to display short abbreviations of different functions when necessary. The camera's memory can hold twenty-six photos at high resolution (640x480/VGA) or 105 at low resolution (QVGA).
