If you're a fan of the video game racing genre, then you're probably one of the many fans who are anxiously anticipating the release of Gran Turismo 5. Since it was announced by Polyphony Digital, there were already several speculations regarding its actual release date. A few months back, Polyphony Digital pegged a 2010 release for the game, much to the dismay of the fans.
Recently though, the hopes of fans were revived when Kazunori Yamauchi sat down for an interview. When asked further on the supposed 2010 release of the game, Yamauchi stated that fans could expect the game to arrive before 2010.
Further details then followed, with some gaming websites citing Spring 2009 as the possible release date for Gran Turismo 5. This is alongside details revealed about cars that is set to appear in the said title, which includes Citroen GT concept car.
Fans need to hold your excitement though, especially since Polyphony Digital have yet to make an official announcement regarding the matter. Regardless, a 2009 release is still better than 2010.
