Ways to Store and Display Your Child's Artwork

If you have a little artist in your home, you know how overwhelming the piles of children's artwork can become. While it may be impossible to keep every piece of paper your child has ever scribbled on, hanging on to your child's artwork is a great way to create keepsakes that your family
will enjoy for years to come.

You don't have to keep your child's artwork in a box that will rarely be opened. There are a lot of great ways to store and display the works of your little artist. If you scan and store your child's artwork on your computer, it is especially easy to create fun items.

Greeting cards are a great way to save and share your child's artwork. You can use the images saved on your computer to create greeting cards at photo processing websites. Christmas cards, birthday cards, and cards just to say hello, are wonderful ways to share your child's artwork with loved ones.

Calendars are another great way to feature and save your child's artwork. These can also be made using online photo sites, but you can easily make them using your own printer, good quality photo paper, and a little creativity.

Adorning your Christmas tree with your child's artwork will create memorable keepsakes that you can enjoy year after year. These can be professionally done, but there are plenty of inexpensive options for making your own keepsake Christmas ornament. An easy way to do this is to cut out objects that your child has drawn, or make Christmas-themed shapes out of a page full of scribbles. Then just laminate the ornament and add a string.

Your child's artwork can also be placed on t-shirts, purses, hats, ties, and many other objects. Websites such as Zazzle allow you to upload your own image and print it on a vast array of items. These customized items are nice for gift-giving, or creating your own personal keepsake.

These are great. My husband is an art teacher so we want to make our son's artwork special and these are great ways to make that happen.

Wonderful ideas! I recently made a book of my daughter's artwork on shutterfly, and I love how it came out.

I've recently framed some of my daughter's stuff, and she has her own little piece of wall space for her own art. Good ideas!
