The following story is a complete work of fiction. It is just a fantasy in writing. We all want a romantic man that will do whatever it takes to give us a night to never be forgotten.

It was February 14th 2007, a cold and blustery day in Southern Ohio. Kirsten had been married to Nick for 20 years. The 14th was their 20th anniversary. Kirsten didn't expect Nick to do much for their anniversary. Nick wasn't the romantic type. He had got Kirsten a ticket to see Taylor Hicks in concert in April, Kirsten was very excited at being able to attend the concert and she figured that Nick would say this was her anniversary present. Kirsten however was very pleased with this present. What Kirsten did not know is that Nick was working on the most romantic Valentines Day/Anniversary night that she could ever imagine.

Kirsten was getting ready to prepare dinner when the phone rang. "Hello" said Kirsten. "Hi Honey." Kirsten heard Nick's voice on the other end. "Nick, why are you calling? You aren't going to be home late tonight are you?" she asked. "No, I'm going to be home right on time. I just wanted to let you now not to cook supper tonight and to get dressed up in a pretty dress. I am taking you out to dinner tonight. See you in a few." Before Kirsten could say anything Nick had hung up.

Kirsten was very happy that Nick was taking her out to dinner for their anniversary. She rushed upstairs to get a shower and get dressed. Almost an hour later Kirsten was ready, and she walked down the stairs to wait for Nick to come in from work.

"You are absolutely stunning." Kirsten heard Nick say startling her. "Nick your home early." Then she noticed he was cleaned up and dressed in a suit and tie. "What in the world, how in the world are you already showered and dressed?" she asked. "I got off work two hours early and went to Moms to get ready. I wanted to surprise you." Then Nick walked over to Kirsten and she noticed for the first time that his arms were behind his back.

that was sweet - my hubby's idea of a Valentine gift is a flat screen monitor for the computer - of course he did tell our friends he was getting it so I could watch my downloaded Taylor videos on a bigger screen :p
