Well, yes we know that the hot items for the democrats are to raise the tired old minimum wage. Did you wonder why it has been raised in almost a decade? Well, we all know that when we work we deserve to be paid what we are told we are worth. However, not everyone follows those rules. Many companies work people for far below what they are worth. That is why there came into being, the minimum wage.

The minimum wage is very low right now and it has been for many years. The minimum wage and are you underpaid? Well, the answer lies in the fact that the cost of living is constantly going up. Everything from gas to underwear costs you more than it did ten years ago. Are you making a lot more than you did when the price for everything was lower? If you did all the math, you probably would find that question about the minimum wage and everyone are you underpaid? Well, I think most people would definitely say that they were underpaid. If you put aside the fact that most people do not work for minimum wage, you still have to account for the fact that all jobs base their payment to their workers on the basis of the federal minimum wage. That is just how it is.

When you get a raise do you think that is better than minimum wage and everyone are you underpaid? You are not alone. There is a strong inclination that the minimum wage has to go up and it will. It is well past time. Not just for the fact that you can make money on a not so professional job, but so your wages in professional jobs will go up.
