15,000,000 Estimated Illegal Aliens in the US - That Figure is a Conservative One

We hear a lot of debate on the subject of removing illegal aliens from the US but exactly what would it take to remove an estimated 15,000,000 people and how much manpower would be involved? If you take into account that it takes approximately 2 hours of paperwork to remove one illegal alien, and a lot more if they have a criminal record, nor does the 2 hours include the actual time it takes to apprehend an illegal alien then you can clearly see the severity of the problem.

We will start with the conservative number of 15,000,000 illegal aliens in the US and multiply it by the 2 hours it takes to process the paperwork for deportation and then 5 hours for required for the actual deportation proceedings, that is a total of 7 hours. If you multiply these numbers together you will come up with a figure of 150,000,000 of actual man hours required for this mass exodus of illegal aliens from our country.

Next, let us deduct the 12,000 Border Patrol Agents. We need to take these out of the equation because they are there to protect the border and not spend endless hours chasing illegal aliens already in the country. They are already obviously stretched to the limit trying to patrol the borders never mind processing the illegal aliens already in the US for deportation.

Now, let us say that we would require a 10 year period to achieve deportation of illegal aliens from the Us. Take number of 105,000,000 and divide it by 520 weeks. This will break it down even further to the number of hours required a week required to achieve this great exodus. This breaks down into a total of approximately 201,932 man hours a week, needed over the ten year period, to complete the task in hand.

Finally, if we take the 201,932 man hours a week required and divide this number by a 40 hour working week this would give us the actual number of people required for the US Government to employ for the paperwork and deportation process alone. This figure comes to a total of 5048 employees constantly working around-the-clock shifts for a period of 10 years to achieve this task.
