Well, they were wrong of course and the Bears proved that they are ready to win the NFL Vince Lombardi championship trophy. The Chicago Bears beat the sentimental favorite of America as their defense rose to the occasion with four turnovers in the game including several forced fumbles for recoveries on defense.

Meanwhile, the Colts overcame their archrivals and beat the New England Patriots by a score of 38-34. Peyton Manning rose to the occasion and had a game winning drive that ended in a touchdown run by rookie Joseph Addai out of LSU. As the game clock ticked down, Tom Brady had the ball in his hands with under a minute to go. Poised to deliver the game winning touchdown drive to his team for yet another Super Bowl, the Colts defense stepped up big time and had a game saving interception.

The Super Bowl will be two weeks from Sunday as the NFL customarily gives the game an extra week break to hype up the game and get fans excited for it. The extra week also gives the host city another week to prepare for such a big event. This year, as stated before, the game will be held in Miami where the weather figures to be warm and the game will be held in beautiful conditions. Big celebrities always attend the event and this year will be no different. Tickets for this huge event have already been sold out and scalpers are selling tickets in the thousands of dollars.
