If you are into houseboats, you have to visit Lake Cumberland in Kentucky. There are several marinas that rent houseboats (luxury ones). I think the houseboat rental company is WaterwayAdventures. It is one very fine lake and makes for a heck of a vacation!

Thank you, Ann! The Valentine's Day special with couple massages and chocolate covered strawberries is definitely calling my name.

Thank you Oliver and Stephen. I have lived in Georgia most of my life, but I didn't know that much about the Lake Lanier Islands. Coming down here from West Michigan, I can appreciate the "hidden jewel" quality of this resort as well. The prices are pretty darn good too, considering what all you get for them.

Wow... you had me daydreaming. Lake Lanier Islands resort, definitely sounds appealing. I just may have to visit there some time. But I think I would prefer to go during the warmer weather. So I could fully utilize the houseboat in comfort. Great article Michelle, keep up the good work,
