NY Bar Exam Results Released for July 2008

Candidates who took the NY bar exam in July 2008 now have access to their bar exam results directly from NYBarExam.org, the official website of the New York State Bar Examination. NY Bar Exam results were released at 9 a.m.

 EST on November 14, 2008 and made available through NYBarApply.org. Due to an overwhelming amount of traffic the moment the results were released, the site has been down for several hours. However, those who are able to get onto the site can make use of the lookup feature to access their NY bar exam results. All candidates who sat for the July 2008 New York Bar Exam will also receive their exam results in the mail.

What to Do with NY Bar Exam Results

After candidates have determined their NY bar exam results, they may use online calculators on sites like Seperac.com to determine where they stand against other NY bar exam candidates nationwide. Online calculators provide estimates based o the number of applicants nationwide, giving applicants a chance to learn about the average score, the number that passed, and the number that failed. The February 2008 NY bar exam calculator can be found here. Seperac.com has yet to release its July 2008 calculator based on recent NY bar exam results.

Sites such as NYLawyer.com also publishes comprehensive list of all candidates who passed the NY Bar Exam here. The list of candidates who passed the July 2008 NY Bar exam have not been released on this site, as of the date and time of this publishing.
