What's not to love about Valentine's Day? Valentine's Day is a time to spend with the ones we love and just enjoy each other's company. Yet, all too often people take Valentine's Day for granted and simply give their partners a box of chocolates and take them out to eat. This Valentine's Day is going to be different though. This year, you're going to take the time and create a Valentine's Day love basket. This love basket will be filled with items that encourage you and your partner to spend time together and it will also be filled with items that are typical of Valentine's Day. So don't worry, the candy will still be there.

The Typical Valentine's Day Gifts

We all know that Valentine's Day would not be complete without chocolate. This Valentine's Day make it interesting and add an expensive box of chocolates. There are several wonderful chocolatiers around the country who would be more than happy to ship you some candy for your love basket, but also look around your local area for candy shops. Buying from a local store will guarantee freshness. Another item that is very typical of Valentine's Day is a stuffed animal. There are always so many to choose from at Valentine's Day, but I suggest picking something small that will fit nicely into your love basket. Now, that only leaves one thing....a night out. I suggest putting a gift certificate to your sweetie's favorite restaurant inside the love basket.
