Christmas Game Everyone Can Play

When you have a crowd at your house for Christmas or any other special occasion, and need some fun to keep the party going try playing the Christmas(Can't say a word game). Pick a word that is popular for the occasion such as Christmas or Santa, Thanksgiving, or Baby at a baby shower. I have used this game alot on occassions and it is always popular for any kind of party.

Create small ribbons with safety pin attached to wear on your shirt. For Christmas us green and red ribborns tied in a festive bow. Give all your guests one as they enter and explain to them you are playing a game, and give a specific time to start and end before guests go home. You can have two separate games going. Have one for adults and another for the children so everyone can fairly participate.

Give them a word that they can't get caught saying during this time. Whoever catches them can take their ribbon pin. The person who gets the most ribbons wins a prize. Give a secret wrapped inexpensive gift that would be suitable for everyone. For example: a box of cookies, candy, or a few pieces of fruit.

You will be surprised at how many times the word Christmas can come up during a family get together during the holidays. I wonder who will be the first to catch grandpa during the dinner blessing.? Be prepared for a tie breaker like guessing the nearest number to ten. Not only will everyone have fun but they also will be festively decorated for the party.
