In unrelated event news, "School House Rocks," presented by GLSEN-Dallas is a fundraiser Nov. 17 that features live music, food, and beverages. Half of the proceeds benefit PUMP, the Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgendered (GLBT) youth chorus. The event will kick off at the House of Blues, Dallas, 2200 N. Lamar Street, 7-10 p.m. (214-999-0199). The Santa Pub Crawl, a benefit for AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) Arms, is a Dallas Tavern Guild-sponsored event that travels from 6:30 p.m. until after midnight every 15 to 30 minutes around Oak Lawn clubs. It begins at Rush in Dallas Nov. 20.

"Santa's Holiday on Strings: A Puppetry Extravaganza" will be held Nov. 28 through the 30th and Dec. 6 at 5938 Skillman Street in Dallas. Kathy Burks Theatre of Puppetry Arts brings Santa and Frosty to life on stage in this fun musical revue. Hours are 7:30 p.m. Fri., 1:30 p.m. Sat., 4:30 p.m. Dec. 6 only; 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. Sun., and 10 and 11:30 a.m. Mon.-Tues. Admission is $19 section A Friday; $14 section B Friday, $24 adult section A Saturday through Tuesday; $22 youth section A Saturday-Tuesday; $20 adult section B Saturday-Tuesday; and $18 youth section B Saturday through Tuesday.
