Be Mine with Wine on Valentine's Day

On the weekend before Valentine's Day, there is a special event on the Niagara Wine Trail Taste wine and chocolates at the six wineries on the Niagara Wine Trail. Make it a very special weekend by staying at one of the romantic bed and breakfasts in the area with your sweetheart.

Be Mine with Wine is a Niagara Wine Trail event. On February 10 an 11 the wineries on the trail offer special tastings of chocolate and wine. .

Visit each winery along the Niagara Wine Trail. There is a one time charge of $10 per person. Receive a commemorative wine tasting glass to use at each of the wineries. Sample chocolates. Celebrate with the spirit of St. Valentine.

The event features delicious wines produced by the wineries on the Niagara Encarpment. The Niagara Escarpment was formed thousands of years ago. Glacial deposits created the fertile basis for the premium grapes grown, resulting in delicious premium wines.

Start at the winery of your choice and choose your route or contact an associate member transportation service and let them do the driving for you.

This historic Niagara County Landmark had a reputation 100 years ago as a haunted house. In the 10th century it became a summer retreat for th Sisters of St. Joseph. In August, 2004 is was opened as a winery, feature wines made from local fruit.

The Winery at Marji Manor wines are flowing and soft on the palette. Both fruit and traditional wines are featured. The two tasting rooms have beautiful lake stone fireplaces and period items on display. there is a winery boutique filled with wine, fruit and local specialty gift items.
