(2) Tompkins Dental is located at 2309 North Triphammer Road in Ithaca.

I used the services at Tompkins Dental and it honestly started out decent; however, if I have to make a recommendation to someone I would most likely advise them to go somewhere else.

When I first went to get my teeth repaired I had a root canal done and a few weeks after that the permanent crown fell out. I assumed they had not properly installed it correctly; however, they recharged me for a new crown. Later they preformed a procedure on me similar to a root canal; however, it is not because the roots are still left in. I was given a crown to cover the tooth; however, I was under the impression I had a root canal. That was what I was told and it was stated on the bill; however, when my tooth started hurting again the doctor stated it was not a full root canal.

The dentists at Tompkins dental have no professional manners. They would switch dentists on me in the middle of a procedure (a root canal to be exact). Also they never introduced themselves to me. Their dentists told me that I needed my metal fillings replaced because they were old. They replaced them all with white fillings (in my molars). Within 2 years, 2 of their fillings had cracked and I now have 2 crowns. (This is a lot for a woman in her 20s). They never discussed the types of fillings with me or that the white fillings are not ideal for large cavities in molars.
