Should homosexual marriage be allowed? Why is homosexuality such a big deal to people in the U.S.? I don't understand why so many people are against homosexuality. It's not like their living as a homosexual. So why should it bother them so much?

As for myself, I'm a bisexual teenager and I've been through it all, having people judge me and some of my family even turning against me. But I figured if you can't accept me for me, then I don't need you in my life. I understand that everyone has their own beliefs.

I think it's ridiculous that you can have a bunch of friends at one time, and then when you come out about your sexuality they all don't want anything to do with you anymore. Some people don't care about it and they like you for who you are, but when you have people who totally turn against you it hurts.

When I came out about my sexuality to my father, he changed his whole mind about me and he's supposed to be my father. Yes, he still comes around to see me but, that's rare and he treats me different. He calls me his son instead of his daughter, which crushes me. The same happened with one of my aunt's. She jokes about it when she knows it hurts my feelings.

But I don't really pay attention to it anymore. I just ignore it because to me it doesn't matter what people say. I'm going to be what I want to be, I'm my own person. I live my life, nobody else does. Some people hate my guts for it but it doesn't bother me either.

If people can't accept you for you then you don't need them in your life. They're just going to try to change you and bring you down.

At least that's the way I see it and that's the way everyone I know who is bisexual or homosexual sees it, too.

I applaud your courage. :) I'm bisexual as well, and I've only come out of the closet to my friends but not my family...
